Our achievements
Environment development and quality seed production along with irrigation infrastructure of Barendra area is one of the functions of Barendra Multipurpose Development Authority. 11000 hectares of land is irrigated every year by operating 316 deep tube wells in Pabna district. About 45000 metric tons of rice has been produced. About 60 thousand fruit, forest and medicinal plants and 4000 palm seeds have been planted in Pabna district. Besides, 11000 hectares of land is being irrigated every year by using 316 deep tubewells for irrigation in the past years.
